So Saturday, off they went! The boys had snowboarding lessons in the morning, and then hit the slopes (literally--ouch!) for the rest of the day. The boys all loved it, and it looks like we will try to do it more often...that is, if the boys get after school jobs to help pay for their new hobby! ;)
Walking to the lift. Are all 14 year old boys suddenly camera shy?
Her language skills (expressive and receptive) seem to be pretty close to typical for an 18 month old (Sarah will be 2 in March). She has been home for almost three months!
I am amazed by how quickly the language has come for her-- she seems to understand almost everything we say, and is starting to put words together.
Some of her phrases are: "Daddy home!" "Night night", "Sit down", "Good girl", "Go bye bye."
She has a large vocabulary of single words like juice, milk, doggie, mama, daddy, brother, shoes, socks, cookie, bath, and go, to name a few!

So...did Dave snowboard? Sarah is so stinkin' cute! Thanks for the fix. And she does look exceptionally adorable in red.
fun, fun, fun! sarah looks great in red! and, yes, 14 and older do not wish to have their pic taken
I have never skiied or snowboarded either and I've lived here my whole life, so that's great that they got the chance - I'm just afraid of my own two legs.
Sara is adorable as usual - I can't wait to get back to church so I can see her again. :)
That would be so much fun! When I was little I used to ski but it got to expensive for my mom to keep me doing it. I still have my little skis though! LOL!
Looks like they had fun!!
Sarah does look great in red! Sounds like she is right on track for her age. Amazing what these little kiddos can do!
Blessings,
Sarah
Red is definitely Sarah's color!! What a total cutie! She and Presley have matching pigtails. You are doing a great job on her hair!! See, nothing to worry about!!
I'd like to go snowboarding! Re: language, not surprised. It comes fast and she's being immersed in English. Our girls are not. Your experience makes me think it's time for lots more English now. Thanks for this post!
