Pictures from Day 3

This is the really tall tower in Nanchang that dates back to the Tang Dynasty. It has been rebuilt several times. There was a small stage in the top of the tower and we watched a short performance of traditional singing and dancing.
Here we are in front of one of the lion statues.

Ike kept telling Sarah to touch the lion's foot and she wouldn't do it. Then suddenly she decided to pose for the picture!
Here is Ike with Sarah at the top of the tower. It was very high up (notice my pained expression!) and foggy that day. (Nicole, thanks for the cute coat-- it's been perfect for the weather here!)

We went for a swim in the afternoon. This is the best picture we could get of the swimsuit-- she is like the energizer bunny. It will be nice to get her home where she can RUN and play in a bigger space! We didn't know how she would react to the water, but she absolutely loved it. She would splash and then touch her eyes to let you know she got water in them.
