Cold Stone Ice Cream Party!

Here I am in the front of the stroller, ready for the party! The New Day website has had some fun surprise pictures of Sarah lately! These were posted today! Cold Stone Creamery came to New Day to have an ice cream party with the kids and Sarah and her foster mom were there!
Sarah is definitely one of the family! We LOVE Cold Stone at our house (who doesn't??) but it was fun to see her enjoying this ice cream in China! I guess now we know what we can feed her if all else fails! :)

Brief intermission...

We took the boys to Southern California for Spring Break this year. We debated whether we should go at all, considering the gas prices and our adoption budget, but in the end we just really wanted to get away for a week! We had a great time and the weather was beautiful!

Little J was much more excited about Mickey Mouse this year and even tolerated close proximity to him!

Our older boys aren't really excited about posing with characters anymore, but when they saw Jack Sparrow, they happily stood in line for this picture!
The beach was great and we spent almost three days there!
J and E have graduated from building simple sand castles and worked for hours on this entire sand city.
The last day was a little cooler and breezy, but we got this last family picture in, except for photographer Daddy!

Itty bitty photo update

Sarah walking and looking pretty pleased with herself!!

Yesterday I found these two pictures of Sarah and her foster mom on the New Day website. The foster families were invited to the foster home for a spring party. The photos are really small, as I was not able to enlarge them on the New Day site. But they are still great!
Sarah is changing and growing up so quickly. It looks like she is walking, too! Part of me is excited to see her progress, and another part of me is sad that we have already missed so much!
No new news on the adoption front, however, I harass my agency fairly regularly :) for any new info and today I am happy to report that our documents are almost through authentication! We should be documents to China (DTC) within a couple of weeks. Here's hoping for a speedy process in China!
