Here he is, in all his kindergarten glory. And I think he's especially happy that he won the battle over what shirt to wear on the first day. (just fyi-- mom wasn't thrilled with the choice!)
And, this weekend my oldest boy went to Homecoming-- his first "semi formal" dance.
A very handsome couple.
It seems like just yesterday that my oldest son was my "baby boy" who was losing his first tooth. Sigh. They just keep growing up.
A friend once told me this (in regards to parenting): "The days are long, but the years are short." So true.
So I try to cherish the moment, and enjoy the ride. It may be bumpy at times, and filled with ups and downs, but it is never dull!
And it is always worth it.
6 Kind Words:
very fun firsts...yes, enjoy them!!
Is Jason in your class?
I LOVE the transformers shirt AND the toothless look :)
Hard to believe you have a preschooler and a dater! Speaking of long days/short years!!
Do you get him in your class?!
how sweet.
I've tried to comment a couple times but haven't been able to:( I sure hope this one takes!
Lots of firsts for sure!!!
Adorable pictures of the toothless grin. Don't sweat the small stuff is what my Grandma used to tell me. When it comes to T-shirts battles, I give in too:) Just scrolling down to the next set of pictures makes me think you'll have bigger fish to fry in no time! LOL...
Beautiful and Handsome... I still say my boys can be beautiful in a handsome kind of way, at least to their Moms:)
Enjoy this crazy time as a parent. I'm sure trying to!
