Little Lego Girl

Sarah has dolls...

lots and lots of dolls...

Right now, Sarah's dolls are a little lonely... she occasionally gives one of them a ride in the stroller, but most of the time she prefers...

doing her "homework"... (masking tape is almost as much fun as bandaids)

putting puzzles together...

and building "towers" for Kai Lan.

Sarah loves her legos... I think she probably plays with them more than her brothers did at her age! At first this really surprised me, but she is an amazing and focused little architect.
We are happy that Little Miss has found some toys that hold her attention for more than a few minutes.
Maybe the dolls should join Sarah in her lego building projects!
For now, we will shop in the lego aisle...and check out the dolls, too! ;)

P.S. Sarah isn't very interested in dolls, but she loves stuffed animals. She has several that she sleeps with and a pink bunny that must be found at all costs at bedtime!!

That's my girl-- I also loved stuffed animals, but was not a real doll/barbie doll fan.

It runs in the family. :)

Oh Sarah! You are too sweet. But those poor little dollies do need a little attention now and then. Your mama might like to play with them too!

Blessings,
Sarah

I'm laughing at this post because it's like walking into my life right now! These two girls are like two peas in a pod, I tell ya! I have to hide our band aids because if I don’t, she’ll open every last one in seconds flat! Masking tape is cheaper by far…

The only difference is that Allie snuck scissors out of my hiding place and just cut her baby’s hair, as well as her own!
I still need to post those pictures… We love those Lego’s too! Aren’t they great?! And BLOCKS… The blocks will keep her busy for at least 30 minutes on a good day

As fast as they’re finished with one thing, they’re on to another! I wonder if your house looks likes mine does by the middle of the afternoon…

Your little doll sure is a cutie!

My girls love legos also. They play with dolls too though. Now they are more into "hanging out", but the Barbies and dolls still occasionally interest them. I played with Barbies/dolls until I was too old to admit here.

Sometime the least expected things turn out to keep our kids the most happy. I love when it's something like tape, one roll keeps my kids busy for hours.

Let's see...a daughter of an engineer. How can Legos NOT be a big part?!

Nadia is the same way on the dolls. She only had a few and they are rarely touched. Stuffed animals on the other hand are a part of all adventures.
