I am convinced that every parent could write a book about the funny things their kids say (especially from the ages of two to six years). Here are just a few "funnies":
Last week I took Jason and Sarah to the pediatrician for check ups and they were both due for some shots. It wasn't a happy experience for any of us (obviously) but they were both pretty brave.
When Daddy got home later that evening, Jason said, "Daddy! The doctor put spikes in my legs!" Well, no wonder it was a bad experience! :)
I was opening some crackers for Sarah and said, "Here you go, Bud." We usually call the boys "Bud"-- I didn't even realize I had called Sarah the boys' nickname. She gave me an indignant look and said, "I not Bud! I a girl!" (You go, girl!)
During a game of Candyland this afternoon, Jason pointed to one of the shortcuts and said, "Look, Mom, there's the haircut!"
11 Kind Words:
Thanks for the laugh....priceless!
I can totally relate to your 'bud' one...we use that with the boys as well and I have slipped with Sophie too!
Hugs,
Tami
that's too cute!! how funny...love the "I a girl" :)
So cute! Oh, how I wish we could capture this age and keep it alive forever!
Love it!! I call my girls "buddy" all the time out of habit! I love that Sarah doesn't like it!!
Its so much fun to be part of this stage and get to hear how their brains think!!!
I DO love their "isms" - Mya says, "I a girl!" a lot too!! It's cute :)
She also calls the elevator, the alligator.
Man, I love them!!
Merry Christmas!
I could read an entire book of things that kids say, and never get bored! So funny!! ;)
Yep, kids definitely say the darndest things... these would even make Art Linkletter smile!! :)
Merry Christmas and God bless! <><

HAHA! They say the darnest things. I love their honesty.
She told me the other day when I called her "sweetheart" that she wasn't a "sweet tart" she was Sarah!
My favorite thing now is her singing "jingle bells" too funny!
Merry Christmas~
Those crack me up. Nadia just got a TREX that is as big as her and she was examining him this morning and then said, "Rex T, you need to floss!"
LOL.
Merry Christmas~
