Back to (pre)school!

Jason started preschool last week. Can my sweet little boy be almost four?? I can't quite believe it.

Jason is our "just so" child. He appreciates organization and routines, and wants to know about the details. He is a good big brother and is great with Sarah most of the time.

Jason likes to play with her and gives her advice like, "Sarah, get down from the table or you will fall."

Good advice, right? :)

We also looked around the garage and realized that our old 12 inch bike was beyond repair (it took lots of abuse from three older brothers and finally conked out). So Jason got to take a spin on a new set of wheels.... as you can see, bike riding is serious business.

And here's Sarah, having a turn with the bike helmet.

I now have even more respect and admiration for parents of twins... even though Jason and Sarah are 16 months apart... it's a given that they want the same thing at the same time! :)

Our girls are only 13 months apart. We still have to buy doubles of most things, so that they're not fighting or feeling left out. It was hard when Megan was a baby and Liz was only 13 months, it made shopping interesting, as Liz couldn't walk well enough to walk through parking lots, I had to carry both of them most of the time we were out. But I actually love it, and I was planning to do it again. If Katie hadn't had so many health problems, we would have done it again. They're best friends, they always have a playmate, and there was only one year that Megan had to suffer before she got to go to school too. :)

I feel your pain. Remember my girls are also 16 months apart. Great pictures, Brooklyn sounds a lot like Jason.

My kids are 20 months apart and I love that they are each others playmate. I never really needed to schedule playdates or really have to play with them myself!LOL! It's a great thing and now they are such great friends. Like Kim said, when Hanna was at school I hardly knew what to do with Grace.

I hope that Jason is having a great time at preschool.

That helmet on Sarah is just too cute!!

And yes, I can appreciate parents of twins, as well. lol Jadon and Lily are 6 months apart. It was hard when they were both 2-3, but it does get much easier.

This is such a cute post. I love the backwards helmet on Sarah!! :)

Thank you for your nice comment on my blog today. God has truly blessed me through all of you, and I am SO grateful for these precious gifts of friendship and support! It always helps to walk the journey with those who are either in the process or have gone before you...it helps to know that you're not alone through the many emotions of the 'wait'. We are not yet DTC, which is the most discouraging part to me right now. Hopefully VERY soon. We are waiting on a couple of things to come back so that they can be sent to the Chinese Consolate for authentication, and also for our I-800 to come back. We had our fingerprint appointments set for the end of the month, but took a chance on a walk-in last week, and they allowed us in and got them done early. So hopefully it will help to process quicker. I'm sure I'll do a post when we are officially DTC, as that will be a BIG day for me! :)

Take care and enjoy those adorable kiddos of yours!

Blessings and Hugs,
~Tanya
