We've had a big kite for years (sitting in a closet) and Jason was determined we made good use of it. So one FREEZING afternoon, we took it to a park and flew it.
It's a bird, it's a plane... it's a bird kite!
The Mister celebrated another "forty something" birthday. Apparently he needed help lighting the vast amount of candles on his cake (there were only about ten)!
Sarah made this play dough family the other day. (I broke out in a cold sweat when she counted all the kids!)
But not to worry-- Sarah has thought it through and everyone in this large family has their own watermelon to eat.
(I think the things underneath them are spaceships, but I'm not completely sure on that.)
Is May a super busy month for everyone? It is one of our very busiest months. Justin is playing high school soccer, Evan is on the tennis team, three of the boys are playing baseball, and school ends at the end of the month. (As a kindergarten teacher, this means that things are very busy for the next several weeks!)
Aaack! We also have two birthdays to celebrate and our wedding anniversary is thrown in for good measure!
So, the motto for May is, One day at a time and/or Breathe in, breathe out.
